Perfect Imperfections

Perfect Imperfections is a collection of Bone china objects to touch and contemplate.

Each body has a singular skin; injuries, signs of time, life, memories of a happy or painful past are naturally part of everyone. Yet this skin considered disgraceful or even taboo remains hidden.

The project explores materials, forms, colours, patterns, and touch that could revalue this imperfect skin experienced as disturbing.

Each object is conceived as a container that is both reassuring and useful. Porcelain comes to ennoble imperfection by offering a dimension of preciousness and lightness hitherto unknown. By their formal and tactile dimension, these accessories with pure lines are integral to the body.

One photography corresponds to each object.
